Event schedule and times
The 5k start will be at 7:30 am.
The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 am.

Packet Pick-up Dates/Locations:

Sunday, 28 July from 6:30-7:15am:  Piney Orchard Marketplace.  8741 Piney Orchard Parkway, Odenton MD, 21113

Other important race information:
  1. This is a chip-timed event.
  2. This is a certified 5K race course.
  3. Participants who register after June 28th are not guaranteed a race t-shirt.
  4. Must have Photo ID for packet pick-up.
  5. You may pick-up other packets, in addition to yours.  To do so you must have copy of their photo ID, electronic or paper.
  6. Same day race registration available from 6:30-7:15.  Cash or check only.
  7. We will NOT have bag check area the morning of race.
  8. For safety we ask that all those with strollers start the race at the back of the pack.
  9. Awards will take place after the One-Mile Kids Fun Run at approximately 9:00 am.
  10. Race sponsors and other vendors will be at Start/Finish Line area. 
  11. This is a rain or shine event.  In the event of inclement weather, the races may be delayed or cancelled.  No refunds will be given.

   Course Description: 
  • Leave Food Lion parking lot and turn left on Piney Orchard Parkway.
  • Cross over and turn left onto Strawberry Lake.
  • Turn right into Piney Orchard Elementary School, stay to the right and run around the loop.
  • Turn right onto Strawberry Lake
  • Turn right onto the Nature Preserve path that occurs right before the W B& A trail.  This is where water station one is located.
  • Follow paved path until Sandy Walk Way, turn right onto Sandy Walk Way.  This is where water station two is located.
  • Turn right onto Piney Orchard Parkway and continue north until your final right into the Food Lion parking lot.  Follow signs to the finish line.
